Impressionistic Autumn

Hello friends!! A Friday evening here and as might be expected, soon time for the computers to be closed and the books to be opened. The candle is already lit. The piano plays soft in the background. And the salad for dinner has already been chopped up and seasoned appropriately and put away in the fridge for whenever I feel hungry. Now? Just thought why not write a few words. I’m alone here in the flat for the moment as Dani and Rosemary are out at a women’s fellowship dinner at church. Wait rewind. Rosemary!?! She is indeed here in the States and visiting us at the moment! Oh what a wonderful blast from the past and a sweet encouragement to my soul to have this dear friend here with us where we can chat face to face! Quality conversations have already been had, have no doubt. It is certainly strange to think how long ago it was now that I walked the streets in Aberdeen and talking to Rose brings those times back to memory. Those were good years, blessed years. But you know what? These days now aren’t too bad either. So as I wrap my thoughts back to the present, I think I shall close this laptop and move into reading time. Peace and love, dear friends.
