Good afternoon, friends!! I quite want to go outside and enjoy a gorgeous walk in this beautiful day (the sun is out hurrah!!) but sadly I miscalculated how long my workout would take and so I still need to wait about 21 minutes for my laundry to be done before I can head out. Alas. So what can I do that will take approximately 20 minutes? Well, I figured I’d post up the mix I talked about yesterday. Coincidentally enough, it is also playing in my car right now. A perfectly lovely mix of songs…I’m quite happy with it. A tinge of retro, a dash of melancholy…and of course ending in that burning tension that resides in us as we wait for the consummation of the ages, the return of the Bridegroom to bring home His bride. I like weird music…apparently been in an indie/alt/pop/retro mood lately. And so this mix definitely speaks of that. So what is that scent of coming beauty, that knock at the entrance of our heart? We sing in sorrow but do we also sing for joy? I present what is possibly my most favourite mix of all time…Jasmine at the Door:
