Good morning friends! At a time when sleepy thoughts reign supreme and the mind must be guarded against the intrusion of seditious and most dangerous emotions, it is good to remember the kindnesses of the Lord. Be at peace, dear friends. While the waves may rise and winds may howl, we have a most secure anchor, a lighthouse for our souls. (mixed nautical metaphor much?) Worry not ye about tomorrow, I would hasten to say don’t even worry about today. Let us rest in the bosom of our Father God and hold on to His most marvelous love. We are known, we are forgiven, we are loved. There is nothing that can take the Spirit of God from us. There is no one that can separate us from our Lord Jesus Christ. There is no force in the earth below or the heavens above that can strip us from the grasp of our Father. Be at peace. Be at rest.
