Hey friends!! A quick early morning post for me, before I officially start work…(and actually I take that back, because I’ve already been doing far too much work at far too early of an hour…oh early morning pressure tests – how I love thee). Anyway, I really don’t have that much to say, but felt it was a waste to not at least write something! Last night, had small group…and I got to pick all four songs – majorly awesome! I got to pick some of my favorites(Oh For a Thousand Tongues to SingTake My Life and Let it BeCrown Him With Many Crowns and Holy, Holy, Holy..and I felt so privileged being able to sing praises to the God of the universe. A very special night, indeed.

And now…I’m still feeling a bit sleepy, but I have fresh coffee and a doughnut and I feel oh so blessed by God. And now as the clock has ticked past six, going to end this sleepy musing and do a bit of work. Peace friends!!!

Frozen

Good morning, friends!! This is a quick-before-work update…I just couldn’t resist writing a few words! It’s delightfully cold(36 degrees outside! …or 2 degrees, if there’s any non-Americans reading this!) A busy day is ahead of me, but right now, I’m just enjoying sitting here nice and cozy in my turtleneck/sweater combo and drinking my steaming hot honey-laced coffee. My hands may be cold. My heart is warm. Peace, my friends – have a most glorious Tuesday!!!

God of our Fathers

Hello and happy Saturday evening, friends!! Daniel is currently playing guitar and I’m chilling in the living room…thought I’d write a few words. This day has been long and difficult but now I am resting. And it is good. I went in to work for a while this morning(oh crazy Ensco and their rig down emergencies!). Working on Saturday isn’t always fun, but sometimes it must be done. Afterwards, went over to the Maresh’s for one of their patented International House of Coffee events…even though I felt a bit tired and stressed from work, really wanted to see people. And so of course, it was a lovely time hanging out with awesome friends and drinking far too much(not really) delicious coffee…

Afterwards, even though I really felt like going home, went back to work for a few more hours to ensure the equipment testing(an HC connector, which none of you will know what that is…but I do, so you can ask me all about it sometime!! Or not, as it’s really not that interesting!). Anyways, after work-part-two, I came home, had a little dinner…and now hanging out in the living room as me and Daniel talk about random things. Pardon the disjointedness of this entry, as me and him have been talking throughout the writing of this!

So now, as I think about today and all that I have done and all the people I have talked with…I rejoice. I rejoice because even though I am tired and weary, I am a child of God. And that is truly wonderful.

Peace and love.

Waterfalls

And here again we have a quick before-work update! Sitting here on this sunny Thursday morning, preparing for another day of oil-equipment-remanufacture-awesomeness(really, remind me to write a post someday explaining my job in great detail. Or not) as I enjoy my coffee and revel in the beauty of a new morning!

And I just realized this is my 365th post on livejournal. Only took me some seven years to get here!! It is sort of odd, because all the friends I started out with on livejournal are mostly gone. What does that mean that I’m still writing away, hm?

Oh and I was bemoaning my short commute today…at this rate, I’ll never get to finish the final song on the newest Rhapsody of Fire album(“From Chaos to Eternity” – epic title, neh?). Of course, the final song is some nineteen minutes long. Oh well, maybe there will be enough traffic tomorrow morning so that I can hear the whole song in one drive.

And enough randomness for the morning?

Time to work!

Oh by the way, the book of Matthew is awesome. Been enjoying it incredibly so lately. You all should read it. Right now.

Prepare your mind for action

So this morning is going to be interesting. Month-end shipments are upon us here at Cameron Aberdeen and everyone that knows how to close out invoices and ship equipment is either on holiday or in Houston on business…leaving the rest of us running around maniacally and me attempting to ensure everything that should be shipped out is shipped out. Cut-off for the end of the month is today at noon, so at 12:01 today, sighs will be heard all around.

O love the LORD, all you his godly ones!
The LORD preserves the faithful
and fully recompenses the proud doer.
Be strong and let your heart take courage,
all you who hope in the LORD.

-Psalm 31:23-24

And now, boys and girls…it’s go time.
