Last night in Tampa…ah, I’m gonna miss my family.

But tomorrow, the grand expedition to Tallahassee will begin!!! Going to be at the Gators/Noles game with Dream and Chris and it will be domination time!!

But I need to be up at 7am tomorrow(nothing like starting a journey…early. Ugh.) and so I am now off to bed after a fun night of watching Sergeant York with the fam and eating delicious Laura-made cake. G’night!!

I am ever so thankful!

I’m back in Tampa right now and have had an absolutely lovely couple of days with the family, relaxing and enjoying being with the parents and sisters…such good times!!! I’ve had to do a little work on the side(oh, finance lectures!), but mostly I’ve just been resting here at home!! And today was ever so fun, waking up late(hey, 9am is pretty late for me now..) and then going over to Steve and Vickie’s for our Thanksgiving dinner!! We all miss Katharyn a lot(but at least we got to talk to her on the phone for a while!), but being with the parents and Steve and Vickie and Maryanne and Laura…joyous times indeed! From eating(turkey, potatoes, stuffing, olives, asparagus, cranberries, cherry pie, pecan pie, pumpkin pie….mmm) to talking about important matters while enjoying yummy coffee with dessert to playing games(Maryanne and Laura’s and mine homemade Star Wars game…YES) to singing the Hallelujah chorus in their driveway…God is so good to us!! And after we came home, did we go to bed? Nah, me and mom and Laura and Maryanne sang the Hallelujah chorus some more while Esther stood around and stared at us in amazement. Yeah, you had to be there.

I am ever so blessed!!

And then as I think about all that God has done for me the past four years and all that He provides me with now…my family AND all the amazing friends He’s given me…what would I do without Him?? So I am so thankful to Him and also to all of you that stick beside me no matter what and encourage me constantly…y’all are awesome. And that is truth.

And now as I need to go and get some good sleep(well, I may read a little of my Wheel of Time book first…hehehe)…I say farewell. Goodbye and goodnight!!

I am so exceedingly blessed!!!

I’ve had such a long week(filled with three exams…two of which didn’t go so well)…but yet, I’m feeling so happy right now!! I am finally winding down from this busy week and ready for the rockin’ weekend to start!! Dan and Betsy came over for dinner tonight(I made pork chops – YES) and it was ever so wonderful!! Having good times talking about random stuff, watching Firefly…just being together…I love them! Even though it is now really late. And I should go to bed..but nah. I want to write a little more at least!!

Another awesome time this week was Tuesday….since it was Veteran’s Day, we didn’t have any school, and while I did lots of homework in the morning, in the afternoon I got to relax…chilled out by the pond with Shari and Rob and then had good times at Chili’s with Galan, Deanna, Shari, and Amy….I have to say, probably my favorite time at Chili’s ever. That’s right, ever. Just enjoying life with my best friends….God is soooo good to me!!! This semester has just been plain awesome thus far. Life doesn’t get much better than this.

And I think I really shall go to bed now. We have a Dunkin Donuts run planned for 9:15ish tomorrow….and I really really really need sleeeeeeep. So, farewell, all!

Glorious Saturday!!! This week has been sooo long(filled with exams and studying for exams…) and now it’s finally over!! I’m now relaxing with some peppermint tea and crunchy bacon! Nothing better on a Saturday morning! Earlier this morning, me and Andrew went to the Friends of the Library book sale…and we came out of there victoriously! He found a lot of sweet architecture books and I got a couple Civil War history books and the whole Wheel of Time series! I’ve been borrowing the books from George Lebo, but now I have all ten books(for the low price of $16..that’s right!) I just love being in a massive warehouse with tens of thousands of books!!! Anyway, that was an early morning…but now I can relax and just enjoy NOT having to do anything for the rest of the day!!! This past week has just been very stressful since I had one exam on Wednesday and two on Thursday. But it is over. Last night, we went over to Broward Hall on campus and had a fish bake! Laurie and Mary put it on, and it was most delicous…fish, potatoes, asparagus, cookies…mmmmm! But even better was the warm fellowship and just being with friends…such good conversations and good fun! God is indeed so good to me, giving me such sweet times!!

Well, now I am back to my reading…I am so thankful for this restful day ahead of me! May the God of peace be with you all!

This weekend has been intensely awesome(and this is totally beside the fact that the Gators beat LSU 51-21…one of the best games I’ve seen in the Swamp!!). But seriously. This weekend. Yes. Three games of flag football in two days, sweet times at church this morning, and tonight…worshiping our Almighty God. He is awesome. Amen and Amen!

Today is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL day!!!!! Clear blue skies, crisp almost-fall weather, gentle breezes ruffling the palm trees…and I’m stuck inside. I’m currently at the Christian Study Center watching finance lectures. Ugh. Perfect disc-golf weather…and I’m being a good student. Sadly. Well, speaking of…back to work.

Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.

Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.
