He put a new song in my mouth,
a song of praise to our God;
Many will see and fear
and will trust in the LORD.

I’ll Fly Away
A quick post this fine Saturday morning!
I’ve just finished my very quality lunch here at Beans(cabbage and bean soup, cantaloupe on the side. Delightful). Now, about to head off to get some errands done before heading home to do housework, but just thought I’d write a few words here now. This morning has been most productive, with much vacation planning! Booked a flight to Tampa for Easter weekend(huzzah!) and then booked a flight to Boston for summer holidays! Going to spend a long weekend there with Maryanne, Laura and Megan, plus Robbie who’s coming over from Isle of Man! Oh I can’t wait! Going to be simply epic.
Still planning a trip overseas as well, but that one isn’t quite booked yet, although I’ve done most of necessary reseach. Waiting for final confirmations from a few people before I press the button. Still. SO EXCITED. I miss people!!!
Also this morning, sent away a package to John(er, John…forget what you just read if you’re seeing this). Hopefully it reaches him in time for the NCAA tourney. Yes, that’s a hint. Speaking of NCAA basketball, UF just beat Kentucky today by 19 points. Undefeated in SEC play – conference record. Gator basketball!
Now, going to finish my cantaloupe and then roll out. Have a most awesome day, my friends!!
Winter’s Heart
Happy Monday, my friends!! I’m about to start work this fine morning and just thought I’d say hi. It is bitterly freezing(seriously, it was twenty-nine degrees as I drove in to work this morning), and so I couldn’t help but stop and get Starbucks. Hazelnut mocha goodness, mm. And then picked up donuts and kolaches for work people, so yay! Happy Monday breakfast times here at Cameron.
And last night was pretty awesome – went to Bethel for a much enjoyed ‘Hymn Sing’ – got to sing heaps of awesome songs(“Jesus I my Cross have Taken”, “Build Your Kingdom Here”, “Come Thou Fount”…and many many more). One of my favourite things, truly…just to be able to worship God together with my true brothers and sisters. After that? Basketball time! Me, Dustin and Joe vs. Chase, Jarred and Christina. We lost, but it was still fun running around. Afterwards, I got to go home and have classic late-Sunday-night-pizza. And read for a bit(ok, longer than a bit). A fine, fine Sunday evening.
And now, it is work time. Have a most glorious Monday, all!!
Lower Fifth
Good evening, all! A quick few words before I sit down to my dinner. I must say, I’ve had a surprisingly productive and awesome day. March is comes in with a roar! Helped Angela move apartments..thankfully we had quite a few people helping, so it went beautifully! Could have used more guys for the big pieces, but we managed. After that, I hopped over to Beans where I got to meet Dan for lunch! We’d been meaning to get together for months…but it just hasn’t been working, since they’ve been pretty busy with Ashley’s pregnancy. Anyways, she was out of town today, so we finally got together. And it was good times. From talking about work and church…to chatting about Buffy and Skyrim! Much enjoyment was had. Then sadly, taxes had to be worked on. But I’m proud to report that my 2013 tax filing is now complete! After that, I got a shop done, then drove home at long last. And now I’ve showered and made dinner, just waiting for it to finish cooking. And what is it, you ask with bated breath? Well, you may not wonder, but it does smell delicious, if I do say so myself. Rosemary and lemon chicken, with baked squash and potatoes on the side. Yeah, I’m pretty pumped.
Anyways, I feel maybe I should write more, but no. I’m going to enjoy this lovely evening my God has given me. I am so happy I get to rest this evening, truly. Peace, my friends.
