And it’s true…four more years of President Bush. This makes me extremely happy. The kind of happy that you feel when your football team has won the Super Bowl…(if you’re of the female persuasion, sorry, you won’t understand. :P) Of course, the President is not perfect…none of us can lay claim to perfection. Of course, he has made mistakes. I disagree with some of his decisions. But overall, I like his policies and his actions…and the heart and strength he shows. His opponent did not show the qualities one would want to see in a leader of our country…I was very frightened of what our country would become under his rule, under the rule of a man who had no clear idea of his plans for America. Kerry vs. Bush was no question at all to me…the President outweighed Kerry on every aspect. I’m thankful that God was merciful on the US in allowing us four more years of this President.
I was ecstatic when I found out…and still am. 😀 After 4th period today, people in the halls were shouting, “Bush won! Bush won!” Apparently, Kerry had just conceded. I know there are many sad people today…and while I don’t feel sorry about what happened last night and today – seeing you brokenhearted(in one case) or extremely sad…I do feel sorry that some of us didn’t win today. But as I see it, the President will work hard to make America better for all. Hopefully the country will not stay as polarized as it is currently…as we all know, a house divided against itself cannot stand.
Ok, I’m done. Just had to get some of my thoughts done…thanks for reading, if you did read all of that. 🙂 And now, with election over, no more political debates…at least for a little while. I’d like to be able to talk to my friends once more without worrying about their political views. I am glad the election is over. With this result. God bless America….for many years to come.
