My weekend was awesome…as much as I love it in Tampa, being away in Iowa was SOO much fun…of course, the primary reason for my trip was to check out ISU(Iowa State University)…and I must say, I was very positively impressed with the university. Excellent engineering program, beautiful campus…if it wasn’t so far away, it’d probably be my first choice. But, we’ll see how things go…

Anyway, my whole time up in Iowa just wonderful…I don’t know how to explain it…but it was almost other-wordly…a beautiful and carefree time…up north is so much different from Tampa, and while this is my home and I love it, I love it up north as well…the cool, crisp air…the brisk breezes…the gorgeous multi-colored leaves on the trees…red, yellow, fading-green…falling down…under my feet. The green northern grass, so different from florida grass…up north, you can lie down on the grass and feel like…feel wonderful…and then the night sky…dark and black…no city lights to dim the stars…bright pinpoints of light shining down upon you…you can actually see the white smear of the milky way…the sky feels so close…driving on the open road…corn all around…the sky is so open and free…can see for miles around…it’s beautiful. It’s times like this when I miss living up North…

Now…not much more to say. Club day today at school…no big happenings. Presently, I should probably be doing my english make-up work…hmm…I’ll start eventually.
