Well, today was actually a pretty good day, in the scheme of things…no calc homework + minimal chem homework makes me very happy. If I could just wish away my english essay, all would be well in the world. *sigh*
I’m trying to think of exciting things that happened today…but can’t really come up with anything. In Euro history, we just took notes. It was boring. In English, we talked about Diary of Adam/Eve…thankfully, since I need all the help I can get for my essay. And I tried to be quiet today, since I’m afraid he thinks I’m asking him too many questions lately. Meh. Third and fourth periods. Two hours of calc. That’s all I have to say. I was dead tired in there, for some reason…could barely keep my eyes open. Of course, as soon as they called seniors for first lunch, I got untired all of a sudden. Chemistry…was chemistry. The rest of our test, which was actually pretty easy. I probably missed all the sig figs again, but hopefully I did ok on the rest. 6th and seventh periods were so boring they don’t merit talking about.
After school, I had a dentist appointment…and then….highlight of my day…bought Star Wars: A New Hope soundtrack!! Yes, that makes me very, very happy. It was one of only three left at Target(at least they had them there, eh?). For all you non-SW people, today was the day that the soundtracks, the DVD original trilogy, and Battlefront(game) came out. Big day. And…Great music…if you’ve never heard SW music, let me know and I’ll link you to some sites with SW mp3s. And that was by far the best of my day. Tonight, I’ve tried to write English essay. Nope, no luck. And then I’ve been trying to complete my UF application.
College applications…how I do hate thee. Why can’t they just be: “Fill in personal information(name, DOB, SS#) and send your transcript.” That would be so awesome. I don’t know how I can write my essays to sound reasonable…any of you that have completed them…tips please?
Ok, I’m hungry. Off to eat a fudgcicle.
